Special Request to Protect a Family Home
Spending time with grandchildren is what makes this homeowner's day much better. After some time, the homeowner noticed some high humidity and allergens in the air. To protect her children and grandchildren, and make the home something she could gift to her children in the future, she knew she needed to make the air cleaner and less humid. DryZone's design specialist noticed puddles of dirty water in the crawl space that ended up causing microbial growth on the floor joists. As a remedy for the wet crawl space, DryZone encapsulated with CleanSpace as well as placed a dehumidifier to control the environment and continue protecting the floor joists from moisture. Now the home is safe from moisture damages for many, many years to come
Sagging Floors in Lincoln, DE Home
This homeowner noticed their floor seemed to be uneven. After closer inspection, it is visible that one side of the floor is lower than another side. They called the foundation experts at DryZone to inspect the floors and see what could be done to level and strengthen them. It was clear in the basement of the home there were some cracks and signs of settling that needed to be addressed. For repairs, DryZone installed PowerBraces to level and stabilize the floor.

Crawlspace Renovation Lincoln, DE
The homeowner reached out to us stating that there home has smells that are overwhelming and keep their daughter from staying there when visiting due to allergies. They asked us to do what was necessary to remedy the situation so it is problem free for the remaining time they plan to live in the home.   We found that there were a lot of issues within the crawlspace and in order to correct them, we needed to redo the entire area. This included adding a sump pump, ice guard to prevent a frozen discharge line, remove debris and installing cleanspace with drainage matting.

Enhancing Lincoln, DE Crawlspace
This homeowner reached out to us because they have been looking to encapsulate their crawlspace for quite some time now. They had us come take a look to see how we could help make the area clean and healthy moving forward. After first look, we noticed the old insulation was hanging and needed to be removed and a waterproofing system needed to be added.   Our team went in and removed all that old insulation and added our CleanSpace system along with a brand-new top of the line waterproof system. This system includes a SmartSump, IceGuard to prevent floods from clogged or frozen discharge line, LawnScape outlet at the end of the discharge line and a HydroLink perimeter drainage system.
No standing water but this crawls space needed to be dry!
Even though this home had no standing water in their crawl space there was evidence that moisture had been present. During the inspection of the home, Dan the System Design Specialist, found areas of mold growing on the floors. The solution for this homeowner was to have their crawl space encapsulated and to add a dehumidifier. By emanating the moisture from entering the crawl space through the ground and then adding a dehumidifier you are taking away one element that mold needs to grow and thrive. Mold in a crawl space can cause a number of different problems, ranging form allergies to wood rot.
