This sidewalk in Sharptown, Maryland is in desperate need of our PolyLevel service. Luckily, they contacted DryZone just in time for us to come out before the problem became worse. Sidewalks are obviously a place for people to safely walk on but in this case people were not able to set foot on this sidewalk without the thought of falling and risking injuries. The stairs in Sharptown, Maryland were dangerous and could not be walked on. These set of stairs were leading up to the front door of the home but the homeowners could not use their front door for a few weeks because of the concrete on their stairs. They decided enough was enough and they needed to call DryZone to fix their unleveled concrete stairs.  DryZone came to the home to inspect the area and took measurements at the sinking concrete stairs. Flooding in a high water table can keep a crawl space humid. With no block between groundwater and the crawl space, moisture started having an effect on the crawl space and floorboards. DryZone installed a 20 mil vapor barrier in the crawl space to completely seal the home from outside humidity. 

The beautiful home in Tangier, Virginia only had one problem, their crawl space. They contacted DryZone in the hope of some help and a thorough inspection. Our DryZone team took a close look at the property and came up with an immediate solution to rescue the crawl space.  Years of moisture in the crawl space caused mold to grow and fiberglass insulation to fill up and fall. This is a common problem in crawl spaces and DryZone knew just how to fix this. The inspection took place in September, a month that typically has low humidity. As you can see from the photos, the insulation started to fall from the top of the crawl space and on to the floor because the insulation could not hold up any more moisture. DryZone came up with a solution to install SilverGlo insulation. The SilverGlo is a wonderful product to use in crawl spaces because it will keep the crawl space temperature the same as the inside of the home. Controlling the temperature in the crawl space helps control the moisture in the air, which ultimately keeps mold out of the clean crawl space area. The homeowners wanted to keep the crawl space dry ALL the time, which is why we decided to install the TripleSafe Sump Pump with a water watch alarm. This way the sump pump will keep water out of the crawlspace and will alert the homeowners if there is a water problem of any kind. After the debris was removed and the wall liner, TripleSafe sump pump, water drainage mats were installed the crawl space looked like a completely different space and the homeowners were more than pleased with their new clean space. 

This home in Tangier, VA had a mold issue in their crawl space that started to become a serious problem. Once they could smell the mold throughout the first level of their home, the homeowners became were concerned with their health and decided that calling DryZone for an inspection was the best idea for them. The sidewalk in Quantico, MD is in great need for a PolyLevel repair. Our DryZone team came out to this neighborhood and saw the sinking concrete. We brought our PolyLevel tools to inject the foam into the small holes.  The sidewalk only took 15 minutes to cure after injecting the PolyLevel into the concrete. Homeowners had some sinking on their front  and back stoop. This sinking caused accessibility challenges and appearance issues with both their front and back entrance. The sinking slab also pulled at previous attempts by the homeowner to rectify the situation with caulk.
