Lifting Sunken Concrete in Westover, MD
A church in Westover, MD, was experiencing issues with its concrete sidewalk sinking, creating uneven surfaces and dangerous tripping hazards. Concerned for the safety of their member, they reached out to the experts at DryZone to schedule a free inspection.
Our System Design Specialist, Jamie, conducted a thorough evaluation and explained how DryZone could use PoylLevel to lift the sunken sidewalk backs to their original height, effectively eliminating the hazard.
The concrete lifting and leveling project included two key solutions: PolyLevel and NexusPro. PolyLevel is a high-density polyurethane foam that permanently lifts and stabilizes sinking concrete slabs. Small, penny-sized holes are drilled into the concrete, and a structural-grade polymer is injected into the voids below. The expanding foam fills the gaps and allows for a precise lift and leveling of the slab. NexusPro was also used to seal cracks, preventing water intrusion and future damage.
Thanks to DryZone, this Westover, MD, church can now enjoy peace of mind knowing its sidewalk is safe and level. We're proud to have provided a long-lasting solution that protects property and people.
