The home owner wanted their basement finished. Before DryZone could do anything, we had to place down new cement slabs. After that as you can see in the after photo, the wall is not the same. This is because the home owner wanted a new inorganic paneling which is resistant to mold then we had left the sides "open" in order to put in a drain, which hooked up to their sump pump.
This is a beautiful example of how your crawl space can be transformed! This homeowner will have no problems with humidity or moisture in their crawl space for as long as they own the home. Totally encaspulated with a SaniDry Dehumidifier!
This homeowner had looked at other companies, but made the decision to go with the best. He wanted people waterproofing his home and protecting it from the ravages of humidity to be specialized in crawl space science. As a result, he chose DryZone. The difference in this crawl space and the difference Team DryZone has over other companies is clear.
Finishing a basement is a big problem. But, if the basement is not properly sealed or waterproofed, a finished basement can be quickly ruined by a water leak. DryZone installed a french drain around the perimeter of the basement with CleanSpace wall coverings to guide water downwards. When the water goes to the trench drain, it flows to the sump pump and gets pumped out of the home.
This homeowner wanted to finish their basement but wanted to make sure that it would remain dry so they called the experts here at DryZone to come out and get the job done. To do this we installed CleanSpace on the walls which will act as a vapour barrier to make it difficult for moisture to get through and we installed WaterGuard which will direct water towards there SumpPump where it will then be moved away from the house.
