Fixing Bowed Wall in Lewes, DE

This homeowner has a porch in the back of their home and noticed it was bowing outwards. After inspection, we found that in order to correct the issue we would have to cut from inside of the home in order to install our Geo-Lock Wall Anchors.

Repairing the Structure of Frankford, DE Home

This homeowner gave us a call because they had some concerns with the structural integrity of their home. They are looking to move into this home full time and want to ensure all structural issues are addressed. Pilot town engineering also came out to take a look per the request of the homeowner and provide their recommendations.

While we were taking a look, we noticed the crawlspace was encapsulated by another company. We also noticed water stains on their product which we brought to the homeowners attention. While looking at the structure of the area, we noticed most of the piers were separated from the girder, pilot town recommended the installation of metal shims. Some of the piers look to be leaning, so we will need to correct those as well.

Ultimately, we installed our smartjacks support system, a supplemental beam/girder and floor joists to correct the structure issues. To address the water issues, we installed a smartsump system, ice guard to prevent floods from clogged or frozen discharge lines, lawnscape at the end of the discharge line and cleanspace with drainage matting to encapsulate the area.

Foundation Repair in Dewey Beach, Delaware

A home owner in Dewey Beach, Delaware contacted DryZone about a foundation problem that they were having. As you can see the foundation wall was cracking and from the outside you can see it was bowing forward. This was caused by the home sitting on nothing but sand. When the high tide came in around 2:25 that morning, it caused the sand to erode and push against the foundation. Once we were there we knew that we had to do something about it that day or the home owner would have lost his home. We installed the wall anchors  to bring the foundation back in the original condition before it ever started to cave in. The home owner was very pleased with the solution we provided to ensure his foundation wall didn't gave way.

Rehoboth Beach, DE Sagging floors fixed with SmartJacks

When your floors start to sag the best way to fix them is to add more support. Many people try to jack their house up with simple bottle jacks. These are not strong enough to last a long time. If you look on the box, it will say its for temporary, light duty only. Most times they do more harm then good.
