Selbyville Basement gets full protection

This basement had recently flooded so the homeowners decided to call the experts here at DryZone to come out and make sure it won't happen again. To do this we start with the installation of a WaterGuard which will redirect water from around the basement to the newly installed TripleSafe SumpPump. The TripleSafe has replaced their former SumpPump because it has a higher water displacement which will keep the basement dry.

Bishopville, MD Basement Waterproofing

Because this home is built with a monolithic foundation, a foundation constructed in two pieces as opposed to three, the best drainage is acquired with DryTrak! DryTrak is installed mostly above the floor and gives the appearance of a baseboard while still operating like a trench drain. This system captures water that gets guided down the basement walls and leads it to a sump pump.

Sump Pump Not Working

This homeowner in Bethany Beach called DryZone complaining of their sump pump not working and flooding their yard. DryZone went in and installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump system, which is three pumps in one, so if pump 1 fails, pump 2 takes over, or if pump 1 can't keep up both pump 1 and 2 will operate. Also, if the power fails, pump 3 takes over on a battery-operated backup system. The homeowners also had an IceGuard System installed, which is great if it the temperature drops as it prevents freezing on the exterior drainage pipes, so that the water can still escape out from the basement.

SumpPump Installation in Bethany Beach, DE

This home in Bethany Beach, DE had a Sump Pump that was no longer working, due to it being clogged with debris. This home now has a reliable Sump Pump, which has a seal-tight lid to prevent any debris from falling in.

When a window well fills up with water, this is the solution

What you are seeing is a standard basement window, its below ground level and has a little window well to let the light into the basement. The major problem that people see with these windows is that the well acts as a funnel and catches a lot of rain water. The water sits up against the window and slowly leaks through the little seams and cracks. DryZone uses a well duct system to relieve this issue. Basically, its a small pipe system that directs the rain ad ground water into your existing basement drainage pipe. The water won't sit up against the window long enough to cause problems anymore.
