The homeowners were ecstatic with the finshed product and very grateful the DryZone team was able to stay within their budget and still protect the crawl space!

Large Amounts of Water in Crawl Space in Ellendale, DE

A crawl space in Ellendale, DE had large amounts of standing water and the homeowners were unsure what to do so they turned to the experts at DryZone. DryZone experts were amazed at the amount of standing water and made recommendations accordingly. After taking a look at the area and the old sump pump, we determined a few things could be done in order to keep the area clean, dry and healthy. To start, we are replacing their current sump pump with one of our super sumps and ultra sump. We will also be installing a new discharge line that will run through the crawl space. Lastly, we are also installing a hydro link in the crawl space with a drop down duct to run into the sump pump.

Our home is old (approx 100 yrs). It was originally built very low to the ground on piers. This makes access to the crawl space or any associated service/repairs difficult. The crawl space is very hard to keep even somewhat dry. We wonder what options there may be to have a drier more accessible crawl space. Ideally the crawl space would also be at least a little bit more weather tight than the current pier structure. We're about 3.5 miles from your building so I drive by frequently.
