Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Making a Harrington, DE Crawlspace Healthy

We received a call from this homeowner because they had decided it was time to fix their messy and wet crawlspace. Water filled the entirety of the space causing water stains all over the foundation walls, mold, and an overall unhealthy space. In order to help them, we installed a HydroLink Drainage System to feed water to a TripleSafe sump pump and CleanSpace Vapor Barriers. Using the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, it transforms the area into a clean, dry, attractive and energy efficient space.

Before Starting Repairs

This is what the crawlspace initially looked like. Water filled the space, which caused mold and an overall unhealthy space for the homeowners.

Batt Insulation

Part of cleaning up the crawlspace to prepare it for CleanSpace, we needed to remove all of the batt insulation that lined the ceiling of the area

Water Damage

You can see how high at times the water got in the area from the marks on the cement blocks. All remaining water needed to be pumped up for us to begin the transformation of the space.

The Turtl

The Turtl was installed as the access point to the crawlspace. This replaced the previous entry point.

Access Well

The Turtl Crawl Space Entry System consists of a reinforced shell made from plastic and a hinged plastic top that seals down securely and can be locked to prevent entry.

The crawlspace has been encapsulated and protected to ensure that the area stays dry and free of mold.

Products Used

The TripleSafe Sump Pump and SaniDry Sedona were installed to pump any water that enters the space out and to keep the space dry.
