"T-ing" into a SmartSump
Notice the "T" connection, it is not just bent or kinked.
Clean out port
Built into each system, the clean out ports are generally on each length of pipe. This allows the pipes to be cleaned of dirt and debris should they ever clog. A cap is added at the end of the installation to keep any water from evaporating and creating a crawlspace humidity problem.
90 degree angles at the corners
Each corner is given a 90 degree connection piece. This keeps a nice even flow and adds integrity to the system itself.
Straight w/ sock
Notice the perfect straightness of the Hydrolink pipe. Imagine how easily water can flow through it in order to reach a SmartSump or TripleSafe sump pump system. The nylon sock surrounding the pipe adds an extra layer of filtration to prevent major clogging.
T connection
When the water issues are so severe that a perimeter pipe isn't enough, a cross connect pipe can be added to relieve the pressure from a leak in the interior of the crawlspace. Once again, the "T" connection is utilized.
Stone added
Once the Hydrolink is connected and in the ground, DryZone technicians add the stone atop the pipe to avoid a ditch in the floor. DryZone prefers to use a round stone since water flows easiest across a smooth, round surface.
Ready for CleanSpace
After the Hydrolink system is fully installed, this crawlspace is ready for the CleanSpace crawlspace encapsulation system.
