Preparing the crawl space
Here we have the normal standard of a crawl space and Jeff preparing the ground for the first layer of the clean space
Digging trenches
Some of the guys digging trenches in the crawlspace. We have to dig these all the way around the perimeter of the crawlspace
Dropping the stones
Production crew member Jeslier and salesman Mike are pouring the stones to pass down to the crew
Pouring of the stones
These stones poured into the trenches make this a drainage swale. This helps any ground water to drain.
Receptionist Sam
Sam, our receptionist, even came out and got her hands dirty. Here she is with a drainage matting, this is the first layer of the clean space.
Drainage Matting
After all the stones are poured in the trenches and the ground is raked out, a drainage matting is laid down. This will help move any ground water that comes up to where it needs to be to drain.
Laying out the drainage matting
The drainage matting gets laid across the entire bottom of the crawl space.
Sealing the Vents
Foreman Mario sealed all the vents in the crawl space so no moisture or precipitation can get into the clean space.
Hanging of the insulation
Foreman Mario hanging up the insulation in the crawl space. This will help keep any air from coming in. You don't want a musty crawl space.
The crew working on different projects
Here are some of the guys working on different projects. Everyone worked so well together on the crawl space.
Sanidry CSB Airsystem
This is the sanidry csb. It dehumidifies the air. The drain line you see connected to it will be attached to the sump pump once the house is all finished.
The laying of clean space
After the insulation is hung and the drainage matting is laid, the clean space (floor liner) is rolled out across the crawl space.
Clean Space
This clean space rolls out to a bright, white, clean look. You can see some of it as the crew start to get it rolled out.
Clean Space Pier
This is how the piers will look after they are wrapped with clean space (wall liner). Don't they look perfect?
Sealing the clean space
After clean space is all rolled out it has to be sealed. This helps to eliminate air and ground water from getting in.
The complete ground and piers
After all the clean space is down and the piers are wrapped, it will have this bright white clean look!
