Not all insulation is the same
Don't waste your money and time trying to install inferior products. If we only repaired crawlspaces where no one tried to fix the problem before, we would still be the #1 waterproofer on the shore. Its rough to tell someone that all the effort they put in was for nothing. So why not just call the professionals at DryZone and save yourself the headache?
Nasty crawlspace
The overall conditions of this crawlspace are pretty bad. The humidity is very high, the smells are awful, and the insulation is not working to keep the house warm.
Halfway to a clean and dry crawlspace
DryZone prefers to use the manufacturer recommended Drainage Matting under its CleanSpace installations. The crawlspace is just as important as the rest of the home so we like to give it the same attention that you would give your bedroom or living room.
Leaving the insulation in the floor joists vs. removing the fiberglass insulation
Sometimes the fiberglass insulation isn't completely ruined. DryZone likes to walk each homeowner through every step of fixing their crawlspace. When the insulation isn't too bad, we let them know. This helps to save money and also brings the homeowner into the process. We don't like to force anything.
Air ducts under the home
Many houses have air ducts under the home, in the crawlspace. If the air in the crawlspace is humid and dirty, then the air ducts will "sweat" and suck in the dirty air through tiny cracks. This can ruin the ducts and make the entire house smell badly. Proper crawlspace encapsulation with the CleanSpace system can stop both problems.
Bright and clean crawlspace
The white liner is very reflective. One light can often times reflect to light up a huge area. It also gives you that feeling of being clean and healthy.
