A crawlspace in lower Seaford, Delaware had completely flooded after a big storm. The water had come all the way up to the pipe lines, and almost to the bottom of the house's flooring.
DryZone came out and drained all the water out, and fixed much of the insulation that had been damaged by the flood.
When we first entered this crawlspace in Seaford, it wasn't safe to inspect. There was so much water that it was hazardous. We had to first pump out the crawlspace before inspecting it. Then we went to work on drying it out and keeping it dry in the future. A perimeter drainage pipe was installed throughout the entire crawlspace, along with several crawlspace sump pumps. The first picture was taken almost exactly a month before the second one. See how much the walls have dried out over that short time. The stains have gone from nearly 3 feet to just a couple inches.
This home in Seaford, Delaware had a very nasty crawl space before DryZone got called in to fix it. The insulation was hanging and the humidity was well above the comfort level. The DryZone crew pulled out the nasty insulation and added new insulation to the crawl space walls. They also sealed up the vents and installed the CleanSpace liner and SaniDry dehumidifier. When everything was finished, the crawl space looked and felt brand new. Now the homeowners can enjoy a clean and dry area under their home. The house will naturally smell and feel better because all the air coming from underneath the home and into the living space will be conditioned. Allergens are reduced and the chance of mold growth is next to nothing.
This crawlspace in Harbeson, DE had a concrete floor that did not allow water from the walls and floor to drain into a sump. We installed a drainage mat to allow water to flow off of the floor into a sump. We then installed CleanSpace liner in order to keep the humidity out of the crawlspace.
