This homeowner noticed some ripped vapor barrier that was letting muddy water into his crawlspace. DryZone replaced the thin plastic with a thick layer of CleanSpace and completed the encapsulation with a SaniDry dehumidifier.
This Berlin homeowner called DryZone with an interest in improving his crawlspace. DryZone sealed the vents and wrapped the dirt floor and walls in CleanSpace before placing a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.
One of our crews from DryZone went out to do this job which had previously been improperly finished by another company. While they had laid down the clean crawl space flooring they had failed to seal the vents which allowed for outside moisture to get in. To fix this problem the vents where sealed and the clean crawlspace was raised to cover more of the wall
To transform this crawlspace first a CleanSpace was installed by one of the crews from Dryzone. This is to prevent moisture from getting in through the floor and walls. Then a Dehumidifier was installed to remove moisture from the air by heating it up. This was all done in order to prevent this crawlspace from becoming a festering ground for mold by making the air to dry for it to survive in.
This Crawlspace received a major upgrade in the form of the TripleSafe replacing their previous pump and the instillation of CleanSpace. The two of these products are highly effective at keeping water out of the crawlspace and keeping humidity levels down.
