It Takes a Village
Wasn't just a day on the beach, with this special project it was all hands on deck. Bill Anderson, Owner, and Brian Barczak, Sales Manager, came to help.
The Void
In this photo it is hard to see how large the void really is. The depth is nearly 2 feet and almost 1 foot high in some places. It spread across an area that was almost 7 feet long! After laying the original concrete slabs, the recent nor'easter from the week prior left large void under the slab. The flooding had caused the foundation below to erode. The Pot Nets team attempted to fill the void with concrete, but when the concrete settled to the ground this was the result. With the race only days away there wasn't much time to add more concrete!
Spraying the PolyLevel
Josh our PloyLevel expert, sprays the PolyLevel deep into the void. Building up before moving down the line. They used over 300 pounds of the PolyLevel mixture to create the safe walking path.
Almost Finished
Before the crew cleans up the look of the poly here is a picture of the void filled. This will make sure that this is a safe walking path for years and years to come.
The Bar
Paradise Bar and Grill is a fantastic spot to listen to live music, grab a cold drink in the summer, and relax with friends. But there is no time today to enjoy the view... off to the next job!
