The Delaware Bay swells with storm waters
So if the wind and rain are blowing this hard, imagine what is going on under your home as a result. That rain water and ground water has to go somewhere and your basement or crawlspace is a pretty convenient place for it to go.
Major storm swells
When we see storms this bad, we have to be concerned for our homeowners. Most of them have a battery back up sump pump, but some don't. And what about the folks we haven't seen yet, do they have a flooded basement or crawlspace? Are they getting water under the home that could ruin insulation?
So dangerous that our inspector pulled over to let cars pass
These pictures were taken by one of our brave inspectors while pulled over. Be careful not to drive straight the puddles and flooded roadways. Gutter extensions and sump pumps will help keep your house clear of water, but the roads are a different story.
Grey skies
From the looks of things, this storm isn't going to let up soon. Make sure you call to get your free estimate. DryZone can repair your wet crawlspace or leaky basement.
