Level jacks are happy jacks
Each SmartJack is checked several times to make sure its level in all directions. This ensures that the jack won't slip when the crew tightens it.
Securing the SmartJack
Each SmartJack is screwed into the girder or main support beam. After we level it, of course. If the jack ever settles, and it shouldn't, this makes sure the jack doesn't move too much.
Tightening the jacks
Each jack is capable of lifting way more then is necessary. When we attempt to lift on the wood to level the floor, we move very slowly.
Finished product
Once its all done, the floor is supported by a heavy duty steel jack.
