SmartJack system
This was a modular or trailer style home. Most of these homes will have a steel frame, however they are usually hiding wooden floor joists under the insulation. These floor boards get soft and sag over time.
Drying the wood
Drying out the damp wood is often overlooked. We like to think of this as fixing the root cause of the sagging floor. If the wood stays dry then you won't have to worry about problem getting worse over time.
Sagging and compressed wood floor boards
These are the floor boards that are often concealed under a layer of insulation in a modular or trailer home. Most people assume that their house is a steel frame construction, but the wood is still there and can get wet and damaged.
Damaged sub floor
This home had a bathtub that was leaking for years and actually started to damage the wood flooring. It went unnoticed and they eventually had enough and got us to fix the problem with a SmartJack system.
