The inspection
When doing the inspection or run through of the basement, DryZone's inspector found that the walls were beginning to chip, and that there were a few beams which were just laying along the floor from what looks as though they had had broke and fell. This occured when water had evaporated, hitting the beams it made them "soggy" and ended up falling down because they could no longer hold up there on the basement's ceiling.
Inside the walls
Inside the walls you can see black mold around the area.
The Paneling
The paneling had slowly began to rip away from the water due to all the excess water in the wall itself.
Basement Completion
After the basement was finally completed with a brand new inorganic paneling (resistant to water) and a new flooring, the home owners finally had their basement back.
