I thought the work was done very well. But I have a few issues with your company: 1) I thought the communication with me during the installation process was terrible. Crews didn't show up to work on days when I was told they would be, which is very inconvenient for me considering it is not my full-time home. I made arrangements with my employer and traveled from DC to be there on days when I was told crews would be working, only to find that they didn't show up. A simple phone call letting me know they would be coming on a different day would have been the professional thing to do. 2) When the house was built, there was a lot of construction debris left in the crawlspace, which was taken away as part of the installation process. The majority of it was just trash, but my partner told me there was a large stack of roof shingles that were taken away. It would have been nice if we were asked if we wanted to keep those shingles in case any of my roof shingles needed to be replaced. 3) Earlier this summer, we replaced the existing sump pump with a new one from Home Depot because the original pump stopped working. When the crew initially showed up I asked to keep the new pump in case I ever needed it for another purpose. It was practically brand new. They ended up taking it away with the other debris left in the crawlspace. I asked if they would bring it back and I was told yes. It was never brought back. 4) The step in the process was to have the crawlspace hatch cover replaced. When the gentleman was there to replace it (a day after I was told he would be there), I said I was a little concerned about how low to the ground the pipe that expels the sump pump water is. I told him in past hurricanes, that section of the property has had standing water and I was concerned about water coming back into the crawl space through the pipe in the ground. He told me that it looks like the crew just used the existing hole from the old pipe, and that they really should have sealed it off and drilled a new hold higher up, above the level of where any standing water might reach as a result of a storm. I could have mentioned this when the crew initially showed up, but it slipped my mind. You guys are the professionals with the experience, and I would have expected that someone might have asked me if that portion of the property ever floods because it is the lowest point. I think I might want to have someone come back out and re-evaluate where the pipe is exiting the foundation to see if it would be wise to move it higher.

It would have been nice if for a small fee of course the installation crew could have finished...
