Sagging floors are a sign of poor foundation supports

Sometimes people are amazed at what the previous occupants have left under their new home. Its not unusual to find a few soda or beer cans from the 1980’s. A few times our inspectors have seen newspaper pages from the 1940’s and 50’s. So there is a good chance that some really strange stuff is under your home right now. But what if this stuff is used to hold up your house?

What is that?

The SmartJack system is ideal for properly supporting a home. Almost every day our install crews come back in with some weird stories about the things they have pulled out to install a few SmartJacks. One time they came back with pictures of patiA beer keg holding up a houseo tiles and rotten bits of lumber. No wonder the living room floor was sagging, right? Just today, Kenny came back into the office with a great picture that a homeowner had printed out for him. It isn’t a job anywhere around here, but it was too perfect not to share. I mentioned the beer cans we occasionally find under a house, but what about the whole keg? This picture made everyone in the office chuckle, mostly because its totally within the realm of what we see a lot of.

So when your floors start to sag and feel like a trampoline, just look up the SmartJack system and call DryZone for a free inspection. We can fix that problem for good.
