Cinco DE Mayo
DryZone Delaware and Maryland’s largest waterproofing company celebrated Cinco De Mayo on May 4, 2012. We have a very diverse company Heather Anderson, DryZone’s Quality Assurance Manager, was quoted saying, so we had the idea to celebrate with our Latino employees. The holiday of Cinco De Mayo, The 5th Of May, commemorates the victory of the Mexican militia over the French army at The Battle Of Puebla in 1862. It is primarily a regional holiday celebrated in the Mexican state capitol and throughout the state of Puebla, with some limited recognition in other parts of Mexico, and especially in U.S. cities with a significant Mexican population. It is not, as many people think, Mexico’s Independence Day, which is actually September 16.
We love our employees they are a great bunch of guys, they are the best at fixing basement when rain begins to fill it up or if you have mold or high humidity in your crawlspace. Edwin a newer employee to DryZone said he has worked for many companies in Sussex County Delaware when he moved here from Puerto Rico a few years ago and has never had an employeer treat their guys with as much respect as he gets here at DryZone.
