Getting the Right Support Under Your Home in Churchton, MD

When our System Design Specialist visited under this home, they were in for quite a surprise. All the light-duty jack posts were rusted and bent! So what exactly was keeping this home supported? 

We highly recommended 5 Heavy-Duty SmartJacks going through the middle of the home to help fully support it. With SmartJacks, a two-foot cube of soil is excavated at each specified location. The hole is then filled with concrete or engineered fill to create a stable, load-bearing footing. The custom-engineered base is then positioned on top of this base to hold the SmartJack in place and properly distribute loads. Next, the galvanized steel tubing is cut to the appropriate height. The steel columns and components are then assembled and connected to the support beam. The SmartJack system is then tightened into place! Once installed, they provide immediate stabilization and lift.
